Bilingual Child: Learn Spanish app for iPhone and iPad

I have been trying to learn Spanish for years, and this is by far the most entertaining! Although this is geared towards children, I think it is perfect for any beginner or novice. ¡Me gusta!

Fun way to quickly learn vocabulary. Great game for kids that keeps them engaged for a long time.

This is an amazing app! I have been very lazy with my Spanish and this app has helped me teach it to my children. The love the animations and the simple game play.

Simple format but really well done and best of all my son loves it. It’s one of our go to before bed time! Heck, I’m learning along with him.

This is one of the best Spanish apps for kids. The gameplay is simple but engaging. It waits until the child is ready and doesn’t rush them along. It’s perfect for my 3 year old. Just buy all the books upfront and then let the kiddo’s go nuts.

I really like the two books, first time through it’s Spanish and English, the second time through it’s just Spanish. Really helps to reinforce the language for my children (2 and 4).

It looks nice but once you are in you have to pay to unlock more games

Please critically read the positive reviews. Just because something is "fun" and "easy" doesnt mean its effective. I am a 44 year old man and downloaded this app for free when it was featured in "apps gone free", so I have absolutely no reason to rate this app poorly because I feel I was cheated or whatnot. That said, if you pay a single cent for this app, you are being swindled. Within seconds of starting, I completed two levels by simply dragging the image of a thing I was familiar with into a box. One character calls the thing by its name in English, another character says its name in Spanish. Regardless of whether youve understood the Spanish term, as long as you correctly move the image into the box, the app assumes youve "learned" the Spanish term and you move on. In the two seconds it took me to advance through the first level, Id already completely forgotten the Spanish word for "cat," because there was no incentive to remember it. Simply dragging the image portraying the word to its place implied that its Spanish counterpart had been learned, but I was simply relying on its English term and corresponding image in order to "win" that level ("cat" + picture of a cat = I know the Spanish word for cat). Its a worthless app that will only give the illusion of "learning."

My kids are starting to speak more and more Spanish everyday!

You only get the animals free. You must pay to get access for every thing else.

This new updated version of my childrens favorite educational application is simply remarkable and inspired. They can not get enough of this bilingual game filled with knowledge. Unlocking all of the levels is completely worth the pennies when I get to see them learn and progress so very quickly right before my eyes! Thank you Tiny Factory! You dont have to be a child to enjoy this app - anyone trying to learn spanish will enjoy it! Great job!
